How to work with Surf 4 cash programs?

Basically, there are three kinds of Surf 4 cash activities: "Surf", "Search" and "Click".

"Surf" stands for various ad bars. An ad bar is a special program, that uses a part of your screen to show small advertisements (well, these "advertisements" are simply ad banners, you come across these virtually on every webpage — but only Surf 4 cash sponsors pay you to watch them). All of the ad bars we promote are client-side — that is, you will have to download the program and install it on your PC (don't worry, they are quite small — 200-500 Kb). Most of the ad bars are downloadable even if you aren't yet a member; a couple of sponsors require that you sign up first and then give you access to the download page from your Member's section.

Any time you start the ad bar, it'll ask for your username and password so as to connect to the sponsor's server and start crediting your account (note that Soundom and Earn Abled require that you insert your username/password only once - at the very start). It's a good habit to ensure that you MS Internet Explorer (99% of ad bars use IE engine) is set in online mode, otherwise the ad bar won't connect to server.

The ad bars credit your account in different intervals — every minute, every ten minutes, every hour, per every banner viewed, at the end of your surfing session (in this case the ad bar should be closed down while you are online, otherwise you will lose all your points).

All sponsors want you to surf actively — some have a certain clickthru requirement (e.g. you must click 10% of the banners viewed), others use indicators. Indicators are all different with various ad bars (please, refer to "details" to find out, how a particular sponsor's indicator works). If the indicator shows, that you're inactive, you will earn nothing. Move your mouse pointer, open a new browser window or click a banner to bring it back to life.

The bar may also have some additional features: digital clock, search engine, bookmarks. Some of the ad bars (Spedia, Cash Fiesta, Coins 2 Cash) can only be docked to the top or to the bottom of your screen; all other windows will be decreased in size, so as not to overlap with the bars. Other ad bars (Web Bullion, Soundom, Earn Abled) can also float anywhere on your desktop; however they will also be on top other windows.

"Search" and "Click" are actually all the same: you login to your account (with some "Search" sponsors you should "Enable tracker" in your personal account page), go to the "Paid-to-click" or whatever section and click all over it :-) But be sure not to overclick — there may be some nonpaying links; a paying link usually has some sign next to it. We recommend that you "Click" and "Search" with Opera or Mozilla — it'll be nearly twice as fast as with Internet Explorer.

"Click" activity is very popular with Email 4 cash "replicants" (RPL) and is extremely profitable.

How much will I earn?

Surf 4 cash programs are the most profitable sponsors to International Members (especially CIS residents) and most profitable to US residents (next to Surveys 4 cash and Register 4 cash). A "Surf" program will yield you $8 a month for granted (provided you spend 1 hour a day surfing; no referrals yet!). The usual percentage of your first-tier referral earnings is 10% — that adds up to 80 c per referral per month. Anyone can accrue 30 referrals at least — that's a minimum of $32 from a single sponsor a month (note that some sponsors credit your account only up to the amount of banners you view yourself — check "details" to find out exactly).

"Click" sponsors (shoot for "clicking" "replicants" (RPL) in the Email 4 cash listing) are even greater — they yield 20-25 c a day at least, and you'll need just 2-3 minutes with each sponsor to collect them. "Search" is less profitable, besides it works somewhat slower than "Click".

Which one to choose?

Why one? Choose many. You can handle 10 (many good click-sponsors are "replicants" (RPL) from Emails 4 cash) in 20-30 minutes. "Click" sponsors give gushing cash. These 10 will yield you $50 monthly (do not forget about the payment minimum; it may take 2-6 months to get your check (or several weeks for PayPal/E-gold payments) — be patient, you'll get the dough)

The only "Search" program really worth taking is Search Cactus (unfortunately it's available for US residents only).

Now we'll touch upon the most uncertain point — "Surf". "Surf" sponsors are certainly profitable and have excellent referral programs, but you may be unwilling to have an ad bar on your screen. If it's OK, consider Spedia first. It has certain strict requirements (only IE, IE should be always on; new webpage address in your browser window every minute) and... the highest payrates. Besides, Spedia is almost the only good "Surf" sponsor for the citizens of CIS countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine...). Thunder AD, Soundom and Earn Abled will be lucrative for US residents and Canadians. Cash Fiesta is OK if you spend very much time online.

Will the ad bars take up much of my screen?

It depends on your screen resolution. With 1024x768 you can freely take all of the "Surf" programs we promote. With 800x600 two ad bars will be quite enough.

Will the ad bars decrease my Internet connection speed?

No. Even if you install 5 ad bars, you won't notice any difference. Ad bars download new banners every 5 minutes or so. A single banner is 10-25 Kb large. These banners are saved in your browser (MS Internet explorer or Netscape Navigator) cache and remain there for a long time. Long enough to be addressed 20 more times. Really, ad bar's don't require that much bandwidth. If your Internet connection speed is less than 21 kbps, you may only have some problems at the very start.

The ad bars have low hardware requirements as well - 386SX40 with 8 Mb RAM will be enough.

Why is the ad bar not working?

1. You're not connected to the Internet (Soundom and Web Bullion can work off-line).

2. Internet Explorer is set in off-line mode.

3. Internet Explorer is set to show no pictures.

4. The ad bar is blocked by your firewall.

5. You don't have Macromedia Flash.

6. Too many users are connected to the sponsor's server. Try to restart the bar later.

7. If you encounter an error message like "DLL ### not found", go to Spedia FAQs page.

8. You supplied wrong username/password.

9. Your account has been deleted.

10. Someone has taken control over your account :-(

What is a point system?

Point systems make it all quite complicated, but they are not means of defrauding you. Point systems are frequently used by the 4-cash sponsors, that are not sure about their revenues and their popularity with advertisers. These sponsors may change their points' exchange rate every month. Therefore they make difference between pending points (these are points in your account, which can't be redeemed yet, as they payrate hasn't been calculated) and paying/redeemable points (these have already been indemnified by the advertisers; they can be redeemed).

Many sponsors use point systems to conceal their extremely low payrate ("5 Gold Points per click" sounds better than "0.05 c per click"). Still many solid sponsors implement conventional point systems, although their exchange rate may stay unchanged for half a year or more. We try to provide information on every sponsor's point system — the payrate you see in the comparison chart may be an average calculation based on the current exchange rate. If you find something like"exchange rates not posted" in the sponsor's details/description, don't sign up for it, unless it really appeals to you.
