Details:

I've spent most of my career at BroadVision. I did hands on technical stuff in the early days, and then I ran applications as the VP of Engineering. I left in 2001 to take a visiting scholar position at the University of Washington. My appointment was in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, but I spent most of my time in the Department of Genome Sciences. I investigated the application of computational and informational technologies to the biological sciences. I also taught the introductory computer science class to hundreds of undergraduates. I'm finishing up my commitments at the University of Washington and am now in the throes of starting a new company. In general, I'm looking at opportunities in enterprise and consumer software. I am currently hot on the application of statistics, AI, and sensors. I also keep my eyes on interesting stuff going on in Systems Biology. My plan is to stay in either the San Francisco bay area or Seattle.
