Wayne Gerdis was born in West Germany on Sept 9th, 1962. He moved to the United States in 1967. Wayne has been doing amateur photography for the past twenty years. He has been doing serious photography for the past 5 years.
He moved to Tennessee in May of 2000, where he has come to appreciate the great Smoky Mountains.
"I fell in love with the Smokies as soon as I laid eyes on them. A person does not realize how insignificant they are until you stand at an overlook and see the greatness out in front of you. This truly is God's country! Although these pictures turned out pretty good, they do not do justice to what you can really see in person. Get out there and enjoy what has been given to you. It is a gift!"
I devote my part of this site to anyone that appreciates natural beauty. I would also like to dedicate this site to my beautiful daughters, Brandy and Jennifer. Even though I cannot be with you, I love you both with all my heart.
