PCT 2000

Douglas Lockhart and Scott Williamson at the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail near the Mexico border on April 9, 2000. It is from here that their journey begins in a thru-hike to Canada, 2627 miles away. Scott will then attempt a return hike to Mexico, something that he attempted in 1996 and again in 1999. Douglas will be taking side trips along the way and plans to join back up with Scott later in the fall to do the Sierras the second time. His previous experience on the PCT was a 1600+ mile venture in 102 days in 1998.
