The Waterloo WildCats continued there strong play the
other night in CHL action as they defeated the
defending CHL Cup champions 4-3.
Waterloo was lead by Jere Lehtonen, who scored twice,
while rookie Erik Cole scored his third goal of the
season, and veteran blue-liner Scott Stevens picked up
his first goal on the year which proved to be the game
winner. Jose Theodore stopped 28 of 31 shots for the
victory.
Brendan Shanahan, Daniel Alfredsson and Patrick
Marleau each scored for the Nemesis.
Waterloo now returns home after going 2-0-1 on there
three game road trip and are unbeaten in there last
five games played. The Mohicans are in town tonight
for a rematch from the one tie on the teams record on
the road trip.
