Laioen
Laioen is a rare ore only found in the Alunae kingdom {The Realm of the Moon Elves}, especially within the Echle Mountains. Much about this metal is unknown to the surrounding realms save for the Moon Elven kindgom and the holy followers of the Lunar Lady.

In ore form, Laioen is grayish black with streaks of quicksilver that pulses with the moon. Once melted and prepared for weapons or special adornments [medallions, headpieces, etc], Laioen becomes a bright silver-white color.

Though elves and dwarves are reputed to have their differences, The Matron's of the Lunar Lady's temples and the leaders of the moon elven kindgoms trust only dwarves whom follow Laduguer in making of the special holy weapons. Only Laduguer dwarves know how to smelt the metal where its malleable.

Myth claims, Laioen was a precious gift that Sehanine Moonbow had given to her children and followers, and she had also appointed the moon elves their guardians.

Properties:
Light as the wind, Laioen is known to be one of the toughest metals out there. It ranks right up there with mithril.. Often, Laioen metal is mistaken for mithril.. and the moon elves are happy for this misconception. The misconception hides the true natural power of the metal.

Laioen's true gift, and the reason why holy warriors and clerics adore this metal, is its ability to absorb the moon's natural energy and infuse the energy into the wearer or weilder. The wearer or weilder is then able to use the energy as they seem fit.
