Wiping sweat from my forehead and drawing in a last difficult-to-come-by breath,
I pulled myself to the top of the colossal mountain.
I had wanted to climb it all my life, and my dream had finally been fulfilled.

I surveyed the long stretch of land beyond the mountain.
It was an awesome site to behold.
The sinking sun splashed a last bit of color onto what seemed a barren land at the foot of the mountain.
Beyond the desert, though, was what caught my eye.

Despite the great distance between myself and them,
I could see a sea of trees.
They never seemed to end.
The green radiated through the air toward me.
Now that I had achieved my mountain goal,
a new prospect hung heavily on my heart.

I had to explore that forest.
I could almost smell the adventures waiting for me.
The land was old and the trees were full of mystery.
I had never witnessed them,
but they were familiar to me...
as if from a long-forgotten dream....
