Night Elf Strats

Huntresses
-Send 4 wisps to your mine
-Send the other wisp to build an altar
-Queue up 2 wisps
-1st wisp out goes and builds a moon well
-Queue up another wisp
-2nd wisp goes to mine
-queue up another wisp
-3rd wisp should go build another moon welll
-queue up 3 more wisps, rally them to nearrby trees
-so your 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th wisps willl be getting lumber
-your altar and your 1st moon well should finish almost at the same time, start your hero up(I prefer the demon hunter)
-send the one of the wisp that built the aaltar to lumber and the one the made the 1st moon well to scout.
-when you get 60-65 lumber get a wisp off the tree and move it to where you want to build your 1st ancient of war(AoW), when you get 70 lumber build the AoW
-when you get up to 100 lumber build a hunnters hall
-when you get up to 70 lumber again build a second ancient of war
-then build your 3rd moon well
-you should start getting huntresses once your first AoW is done and keep producing until you have a total of six(don't forget to use that second AoW when it finishes)
-when you have your 6 huntresses and your hero get out there and creep.
-upgrade your armor first, then weapons foor your huntresses, then upgrade your tree of life.
-once your hero has gained 2 lvls creepingg bring your group back and heal and grab at least 2 more huntresses(stay out of low upkeep for now)
-this is about the time I choose to expandd so if you have a mine cleared already use it, if not go clear one.
-at the same time get your huntresses the sentinel ability and put birds all over the place, if you can get some in your opponent(s) base.
-at this point it depends what your enemy is doing (and what race too...) you need to adjust to what they are doing, if they are orcs and are getting shamans, counter with dryads and buy a wand of negation to help, if there humans going for griffins get some druids of the talon, you should know enough of night elves to know what your units do.

Dryads/Druids
Build 4 wisps. Put 3 to gold(From starting 5). 1 to Altar-Keeper of the Grove. 1 to moon well.build another wisp. Make sure 5 wisps are on gold and 5 are on wood. Go to Tree of Ages as soon as possible. Build a hunters hall as soon as you can after upgrading to tree of ages. Build Moon Wells as needed. Save all wood and gold(Except for moon wells) Build 2 Ancient of Lore and 1 Ancient of Wind. TRain 8 dryads then go Tree of Eternity. Build Priestess of the Moon. Upgrade dryads and druid of talon. Pump dryads and druid of talon.

Archers
Take four of your five starting wisps and send them to gather wood. Use your remaining wisp to build an ancient of war. Immediately get started on training another wisp. As soon as it is done have him become a moon well. Make another wisp, make another moon well. Now the Ancient of War should be done. Queue three archers. Make a wisp and have it become a moon well. Now make a hero, I always use PotM. Make another wisp and turn it into another Ancient of War. Now you have a fairly suitable army, 3 Archers, A hero. Send them out to take out some local creeps to raise your heroes level. At the same time, your money should be raising so make a few more archers. When it is all said and done you should have 6-7 archers and a hero. Stay under 31 food so you have no upkeep.

Dryads,Druid Of Talon,Chims
Build Altar, queue Wisp to go to mine afterwards (shift-right-click the mine after giving build order) (Hotkey: F8, B, A, shift-right click mine) Put four Wisps on the mine (group select Wisps, making sure not to select the wisp going off to build the Altar, right click mine) Train five Wisps, rally point on lumber (W five times, right click tree) First Wisp arrives, build a Moon Well, then go to lumber afterwards (do this for every non-ancient building) Press Alt-A (turns you white, allies yellow, creeps orange, and enemies red on the minimap; much easier to see enemies and creeps on minimap) Share units (with whoever you feel like, usually good players, always with anyone better than you) Hotkey: F11, then clicking on boxes Tell your allies that if they can defend against the first attack, that the team will win; because it's true Tell them your suggestion to do that is to make a whole lot of units and don't worry about upgrading them, they should upgrade if they have spare cash though Build a Hunter's Hall Build two more Moon Wells Train a PotM Train 5 more wisps (10 on lumber, 5 on gold) After Wisps, upgrade to Tree of Ages Build a total of 6 Moon Wells, and 2 Ancient Protectors Use your imagination to put those in a good formation Tell your allies to use your Moon Wells for healing (especially if they have to defend you) Build one Moon Well in another player's base, who isn't Night Elf (or another near your lumber Wisps if all your allies are Night Elves) When tree upgrades, research Nature's Blessing Build one Ancient of Lore and one of Wind Upgrade and make only Dryads and (Druids of the) Talons Your Hunter's Hall should use hotkeys W, R, and U only (don't upgrade archers/hunts, since you won't have any) You should have one more Dryad than you have Talons, and build up to 40 (don't break into Low Upkeep) Upgrade to Tree of Eternity when you can (especially if all your research and upgrades available have already been done, and you're waiting for tier 3) Expand. Creep with that force or ask your allies to creep for you at the start of the game. By the time you have Dryads and Talons, you will be able to help should any of your allies be attacked, but you are not quite ready to attack with only 40 pop, even if it's with your allies. When you expand, quickly make 5 more additional Wisps to put in the mine, put them on lumber until they can go in the mine. Start building more Talons and Dryads, up to 70 Build a Chimaera's Roost. Upgrade and make Chimaeras, Talons, and Dryads to pop limit (High Upkeep) (Don't go into High Upkeep without at least one Chimaera) Whenever you like, train a KotG. You should not get to level 7 with your PotM before you do. You can wait until she's 6 though, if you want Starfall faster. When you get to 70 pop AND have fully researched the upgrades for Dryads, Chimaeras, and Talons (even if you don't have Chimaeras yet, but you've researched the upgrade), you are 'ready' and your allies can go off of defend and play however they want to, because at that point, you've probably won. You can say 'Good Game' at that point because you are now undefeatable. Always have two mines going. You're heading straight for High Upkeep, and even though you're making mostly cheap units (Chimaeras aren't though) you will still need two mines going at all times. Once you get into High Upkeep, never stop attacking, and never leave it. Keep making units. Keep attacking, with or without your allies (preferably with) and only retreat if they kill enough for you to go into Low Upkeep. Your allies, once you are 'ready', are free to do anything they want.

Night Elf Strategy

The easiest way to defeat another night elf using a night elf is by using the Priestess of the Moon. Within 10 minutes of the game you should finish two objectives, look for you opponent's base and make the Priestess of the Moon reach level 6 to access starfall. Once those two are done, get the Priestess to a Goblin Merchant and buy a potion of invisibility, and fill your inventory with healing stuff. A potion of Invulnerability would be of great use, you also need this for the strategy to work. Once you have all those, go near to the enemy's base with just the Priestess. When you're nearly there, hit the potion of Invisibility and go to the very middle of your opponent's base. Make sure no sentinels see you, because they can see invisible units. If you have a potion of invulnerability, hit it. And then activate starfall. Once you do that, the enemy will see you, and many of it's army will surround you, even the Ancient Protectors will hurl their boulders at you. If you have the potion of invulnerability, you won't have to worry about that, just wait for the end of the starfall and the night elf base will be no more. But if you didn't get to pick a potion of invulnerability, there will be lots of damages on the priestess, which is why I asked you to purchase a lot of healing potions. Keep on hitting it to avoid the death of the priestess. I guarantee you, at the end of the starfall effect, (45 seconds) there will no longer be any Night Elf buildings nearby. It is best followed by a full army attack to destroy all the other Night Elf buildings, thus defeating your unlucky adversary. ---THERE are however weaknesses in this strategy (only when you don't have a potion of invulnerability) The other Night Elf's army may have a druid of the talon, he can use this to send your Priestess flying up in the heavens with Cyclone. But he cant do that if you're invulnerable (with the potion). With that potion, the strategy is perfect and unavoidable. Picture yourself in your opponent's place and figure out how you'd prevent that--- THERE's NO WAY. That's why I planned that if I fight a person who uses that kind of strategy, I'll make sure the map isn't Ice Crown (because level up is quicker there) and I'll make sure I'll rush him/her. And I also studied the Undead, because Night Elves are weak against the Undead. REMEMBER: This strategy only works in NIGHT ELF VS NIGHTELF or NIGHTELF VS HUMAN. I havent tried it in ORC but I guess it works just as well. NEVER TRY THIS in a NIGHELF VS UNDEAD, it'll never work. Spirit Towers are simply long-living, and you can't get the desired effect... NEVER TRY IT!!!
