Humans Strats

Knights and Priests

1. Put 3 starting peasants on gold and make a barrack and a farm.
2. Build 5 peasants in your town hall. First two peasants mine gold, while the last three harvest lumber.
3. When your farm is complete, build another farm. When your barrack is complete make a footmen while getting an altar.
4. Soon after the last peasant is done training, you will have enough resources to upgrade to a Keep. Do so.
5. Continuously make footmen and when gold permits build another farm and a lumber mill. Make a Mountain King (MK) when your altar is finished.
6. After the MK (first skill should ALWAYS be Storm Bolt) comes out, go creep hunt with him (you will have 5 footmen as well).
7. Around this time, the lumber mill will be complete, make 2 guard towers guarding your main base. This will allow sufficient town defense while your MK creep hunt.
8. When the Keep finishes upgrading, upgrade to a Castle immediately. Build an Arcane Sanctum and a Blacksmith.
9. Build farms before your castle finishes upgrading, and begin the construction of another barrack before the Castle is finished.
10. Make priests while the castle is being upgraded, while pumping knights after the castle is finished.
11. Expand and/or engage the enemy.

Water Elemental Rush

1) With two of the 4 starting peons, start building a farm and a barracks. Use other two peons to start mining gold
2) Queue 4 peons right away. Put first three into the gold mine (since the gold mine is saturated when there are 5 peons working in it) and the rest (including the ones who are building your structures) to lumber. You want as many as 5 peons working to harvest lumber for the later game.
3) Build a second farm as soon as possible – this is because you want to start pumping out units fast after your hero (arch mage is made)
4) When there are 5 peons mining and 3 peons harvesting lumber, start summoning the archmage. When the barracks is completed, start producing footmen.
5) Start leveling your hero the second your 2nd footmen pops out. It is important to remember that footmen will consist major portion of your army early in the game, so save as many as possible by micromanaging them.
6) As soon as your archmage gains a level, start pumping up points into water elemental skill first. Don’t get any other skills, you want water elemental maxed as soon as possible.
7) After killing all the easy creeps, raid the goblin merchant and make sure your hero doesn’t get damaged heavily. The Troll King or Gnoll King can quickly target your heroes / units and kill them before you know it.
8) Stock up on mana potions then scroll of healing / protection. If you find yourself with small amount of cash, I’d suggest getting mana potions first so you can continually pump out water elementals in a battle.
9) At this point, start teching up at your base. You can either go for combination of footmen / riflemen or tech straight to workshop and get siege units, while producing only footmen.
10) After your archmage becomes level 4, start the push towards your opponent’s base. Make sure to cast water elemental before you enter the battle. You can have more than one elemental in given time. Do not stop the production of footmen / ranged units for support. Even if this means going into low upkeep.
11) When engaging in a combat, try to focus on your archmage’s saftey while making a wall with elementals / footmen. Water elementals last a long time with their 800 hp at skill level 3. Make sure that you’re recasting water elemental as soon as the timer resets.

Rush

Quickly build a barracks and a farm. Send the two peasants to harvest gold. Select the gold mine as the rally point for the town hall and just pump out 3 more peasants, then queue up the paladin. When the two peasants finish building have them harvest wood. When your hero is ready, you will have a footman by then, start attacking the lower end creeps and your second footman will join you soon. Keep on pumping out footman, here you can build a second barracks or go for the blacksmith (I usually go blacksmith). Conserve your money after you have 4-5 footman, in LT kill the two creeps outside your area and your expansion and move in to clear the gold mine. Your first skill with the paladin should heal so you can keep on healing your guys in the early game when it's important to keep up a decent army size. Build a second town hall even while your still attacking the creeps, then move out and take on the bigger creeps, keep on pumping out footman and upgrading your guys. Since you're conserving with heal's early on, that second barrack isn't too important. Upgrade your guys and get the second gold supply flowing, then push in hard and you should start heading up to castle. After your second or third wave on them, you should be ready to switch to knights. Go all out with your footman on your last attack so you can clear your upkeep to ready up for knights, we don't want any footman alive. Don’t forget to check up on your guys and heal them, takes a lot of micromanagement. After the first heal, go straight for the paladin aura. Your hero WILL die, and the knights wave should finish them off. Don't forget animal husbandry, the knights will have a +150 HP for the final wave. You need the expansion early in the game so focus on that first, and then play to push back to buy time for your knights. If your partner is getting attacked and he's "ok" then go straight for the enemy base, they will have no one defending it, and they will head back to protect their own town, this way you can do damage / save a partner if you have it. Keep on pushing back since ground rushing usually means all out attacks and nothing left on defence. 3/3 Knights +150 HP and a lovely aura would roll over most units, protect your hero in the later stages of the game to keep your knights on the +3 defence, it DOES Make a noticeable difference at that stage. Also you still have that first heal, micromanage your knights and keep them healthy, they'll end up doing as much damage as your hero anyways. Do not go for a long game (after first few rushes) with footman. A third goldmine would be ideal and a few barracks to produce a constant stream, the human ground rush is all pushing the enemy back and will not win long games, do not let it go to a long game, eliminate an enemy or their gold supply fast. On the first rush, go straight for their mines and destroy peons/peasants/whatnot, it will cripple them more/buy time than an all out assault.

Rush/Tech

ok first get three of the 5 pesents and put them straight on to gold then get the other 2 to build. 1 builds a farm near the enterence and the other builds a barraks. then pump out 5 pesents and put ther first 1 on gold and the other 4 on wood. ok by now your first farm should be nearly built get that peasent and build another farm (close to the fist one). once your barraks is built start pumping footmen but make sure that u still have enough to build yout alter. then build another farm and keep on pumping footmen until u have 6 in total. ok by now u should have yout hero (palidin). get all your units and start creeping, or u could try and rush ur enemy. after your hero reches lv 2 you should have enough resorses to build a lumber mill. do so then start building towers around your base. keep on creeping then when you reech lv4 upgrade your townhall to a keep then to a castle staright after. but you should build a black smith while your upgrading to a keep. then once you have a castle build a workshop so you can start pumping out knights. these will be one of your strogest units IF YOU KEEP THEM HEALTH IN BATTLE with your paliden. all the while your building u should keep son creeping and getting other gold mines. because as they say first in first serve. Having enough gold mines is most probalbly the most important thing because if u control the gold then you usally control the game. but you will need to defend them. a few well placed guard towers should do the trick. ONE more thing. i learnt this the hard way but u should never underestermate your enemy because you never know when they will hit, and if your not ready then it'll be easy as 1,2,3 for them to knock u out and turn the game around. so it's always a good idea to have a mixture of units. from the knights and riflemen to the gryfens and seige wepons. its always good to know what your up angainst before you go into battle so it wouldn't hurt to make some morter teams and use flare on the enemy. your opponet will hate you for doing that but then "who said war wasn't dirty". then try and pin point out week points and then hit them low and hard. then they will be forced to teliport back and defend there base. always go for the hero fist then concentrate on the other units. and if your not to over whelmed with the "intenisty of the battle" try to have a wall of knights infront of your hero. if your hero is close to the hero but not attacking don't worry cuz you still get the experence. as soon as u hit lv 6 get reserect and then its up to u what u do. good luck and fight hard.
