****  This census had an unusual way of recording ages, as the census collectors were instructed to: 'write down the age of every person under 15 years of age as it was stated to you. For persons aged 15 years and upwards, write the lowest of the term of 5 years within the age is reached.' Thus a person who was 34 years of age would be recorded as 30.
