Thank you for visiting my Garden House pages. I have been fortunate enough to have been a flower in The Garden House since early 1999. I was totally amazed to be lovingly accepted into a group of ladies whose web design talents I admired greatly. I have to say that my early attempts at web page and graphic design were pretty green and I appeared to be all thumbs. That was fortunate for my gardening attempts through the years but not so fortunate for my web pages.  But like so many novices, I have improved in the art of web design and graphics.  I hope you enjoy your visit to my Garden House pages.  I highly recommend that anyone looking for a group of warm, caring ladies on the WWW...give the Garden House a try!
My Most Beloved Garden Memories

I never think of vegetable or flower gardening without warm memories of my mother coming to mind. Talk about a green thumb, that was a lady who had one. And I think one of her greatest joys in life, right after her family, was to be outside where she would work for hours to grow delicious vegetables and beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs.
Gardening was a year round event for her as it is with anyone who can boast of a beautiful yard, flower beds and vegetable garden. The time she spent studying her ever ready copy of Blum's Almanac was second only to her Bible.  The Burpee Seed catalogue came in third.
Speaking of which, I came across some golden memories today. A little more high tech than Mama's Burpee Seed catalogue, but did you know that you can find that joy online now?  Give it a look, it will do your heart good. They also have recipes and all sorts of information.
