Each year the minutes of each Session must be reviewed by the Presbytery to fulfill the requirements of The Book of Order (G-10.0301). We have tried to be responsive to your needs and for the review of the minutes for the calendar year 2006, we have arranged for 4 ways for you to have your minutes reviewed. When possible, the clerk (or someone representing the clerk) is requested to be present to assist with the readings. Bring the completed forms to the review or enclose them with the minutes if you mail them. If you use a highlighter to mark the portions of the minutes listed on the checklist, it will help the reviewer. Remember: Copies of minutes only.

We are sorry we could not have a review of minutes at the March meeting of Presbytery. The one day format did not allow for any Pre-Presbytery events.

1. In Clusters.

On Saturday, April 14 or Saturday, April 21 there will be reading of the minutes.

Austin: April 14. Faith Presbyterian Church, 1314 E Oltorf. Pat Martin, Convener. Go to Fellowship Hall at the right as you enter the parking lot. 10 AM until noon. Church phone: 512-444-1314. Pat's cell on Saturday morning only: 512-415-7629.

Exit I-410 at Babcock, go outside the loop and turn right at the first light (Callaghan Rd). Church is one block. Other activities will be going on so look for the signs. 10 AM until noon. Corpus Christi: April 14. Parkway Presbyterian Church, 3707 Santa Fe. Frances Wolter, Convener. Church phone: 361-852-7349. Enter through the front door by the cross. 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Victoria: April 14. Grace Presbyterian Church, 3604 N Ben Jordon. Dan Fultz, Convener. 10 AM until noon. Church phone: 361-573-4840.

Kerrville: April 14. First Presbyterian Church, 800 Jefferson. Gloria Olsen, Convener. Church phone: 830-257-3310. Gloria Olsen, Convener. In Ryan Hall which faces Jefferson Street, next door to the sanctuary. 10 AM to noon.

Harlingen: April 21. Treasure Hills Presbyterian Church, 2120 N Ed Carey Drive. Rosemary Courtney, Convener. 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Church phone: 956-428-1906. There are other activities going on at the church.

2. At the June meeting of Presbytery, on Friday June 8 at Schreiner University from 10 AM to noon If you are not able to be present, you can have your church’s commissioner drop off the minutes at the reading or at the registration table later in the meeting. There will also be a workshop for clerk s of session training at 10 AM for new (and other) clerks.

3. At the October meeting of Presbytery, on Friday October 19 from 10 AM to noon in Mission. If you are not able to be present, you can have your church’s commissioner drop off the minutes at the reading or at the registration table later in the meeting. There will also be a workshop for clerks of session training at 10 AM for new (and other) clerks.

4. Mail the minutes to Mission Presbytery, c/o Clerk’s Committee and we will take care of them for you. Please send copies. These will not be returned unless you specifically request it.
