Headquarters Company, 70th Engineers leading a parade at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This picture was taken by me in 1965, shortly before we departed for Vietnam.

Captain Hutchens (Chaplin) is receiving his Bars from LTC Edelstein at Fort Campbell, early 1965.

Please excuse the quality of this picture but these are the drivers of the 511th Panel Bridge Company who was supporting the 70th in Vietnam. Photo was taken in early 1966.

I killed this 10 and 1/2 Foot King Cobra, laying in my tent, I seen it come crawling under the canvas sides, I ran outside, grabbed a shovel and then grabbed the Cobra's tail and started pulling it out of our tent.Pictured are (left to right) Himber(maybe), Herner, Oty, (no shirt), Evans (tall guy), Cobb, (with the glasses) the rest I'm not sure about.

Friends, Billie & Bonnie Hobbs. Billie was my best friend at Fort Campbell and in Vietnam. He and Bonnie lived in TN. (near Clarksville) when I last saw them,that was in 1987.Just recently I was able to locate Bonnie, she told me that Billy has died three years ago of a heart attack.
