Wallstreet's Finest was the first team to come into the ranks of MECA. The team's origin came from four individuals wanting to compete with one vehicle. Each individual used each of his individual talents to construct this vehicle. Because each person helped, we decided that it should not be put in one person's name. The vehicle was a 1994 Chevy S-10 owned by Ashley Wiles. The vehicle debuted at the first MECA event at Carl Casper Car & Truck Show. The name came from a movie called BeatStreet. The truck placed first in Consumer 701-1000 and walked away with the World Record to which it kept for almost 4 months. Well I think everyone knows what came afterwards. The infamous "Da Wagon" came onto the seen soon afterwards. This vehicle dawned the Wallstreet's Finest logo and soon became our trademark. Wallstreet's Finest members have held multiple MECA World & State SPL records. The team received the coveted "Team of The Year" our first year out. We also received "Sexiest Exterior Bracing" the same year. The team is not only active in MECA, but also DB Drag Racing, USAC, and Whitlee's. Wallstreet's Finest offers its members what I like to call "Our Benefits Package." This package includes knowledge and willingness to help our members. The team has over 10 years of car audio knowledge and 6 years of competition knowledge. Every member has his or hers own little bit of expertise to add to the formula. We also encourage what we believe is the most important thing about this which is fun. Just ask Team Smoke after an infamous Wallstreet Party. We are known for "Da Wagon", The Wallstreet Girls, and how wild we get. We have made mistakes in the past just like some other teams have, but we are still here and hope to survive for a very long time. We have expanded our club to not only car audio, but car show and shine with one new member leading the pack. What does the future hold for Wallstreet? That question has been asked a bunch. We expanded into car show and shine and have been doing quite well. We have not only played in the SPL game, but also played in the SQL game. I guess the best way to sum up our future plan is to quote a great philosopher of our time. To quote THE ROCK, "JUST BRING IT!" |
