The name Wallitron came about as a name to use to avoid using my own personal details on website registrations etc. Yahoo are kind enough to give away email accounts, so I registered the Wallitron name with them. I rarely check that email address, other than to acknowledge email from a web based registration. There really isn't any point in a real person sending email to that address, as I'm not likely to read it.
The name Wallitron is derived from the word wally. I found one defintion of the word wally at http://english2american.com/, and I quote:
wally n. A wally is somewhere between an idiot and a dunce. It's used in a friendly sort of a way, though. You'd never leap out of your car after someone's smashed into the back of it and shout "you complete wally!".
This term is often used in Australia, but was far too common to use for a userid at a websites etc. Hence the derivitive Wallitron was born. Anyone who read and believed that the registration details used by "Wallitron" were legitamite, would indeed be a "wally".
