Are you sick of seeing the wrong logo on the bases of your Songbirds and Pucks? I know I was, which is why I decided to do something about it. So here is the file I created for the job - and you are welcome to make use of it as well.

The main file contains 36 Alpha Flight and 36 Thunderbolts logos, as well as a few others that I have been asked for (such as MOE for Thunderball). If you're after a different logo, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. There are also files with just the specific team logos if people don't want all of them. If you want to know how to apply them, there are detailed instructions below on how I do them.

The main file:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Right click on the image file above and save it to your computer. If it looks far too large to you, it is because it is at high resolution in order for it to print out better.

2) Buy some white or clear labels that are appropriate for your printer. Almost any labels will do, since clix don't usually see a lot of wear and tear, or get rained on.

3) Print the logos on the label. If you're clever enough you could probably get it to print twice on an A4 sheet. It should print out at the correct size, but if it doesn't convert it to 300 pixels per inch, and make sure that it's 3.5 inches wide (thats 8.9 cm for us metric people). This is easy to do in Adobe Photoshop if you have it (just go to "Image Size" under the "Image" tab).

4)Carefully cut out the logos, or use a single hole punch to cut them out. It's a good idea to loosen the backing sheet from the label before cutting them so that they'll come apart easier. This is the most fiddly part for certain.

5) Stick your logos carefully on the back of the clix figures base. If you find that your labels frayed around the edges a little while cutting so that a white edge can be seen, colour around the edge with a black permanent overhead projection marker, or CD marker. These are designed to write on plastic, and can be bought with very fine points (they're great for using on custom figures too!). If you are using clear labels there shouldn't be any problem at all here (although they are more expesive).

NOTE: For an even more realistic result, it is possible to use decals. However they are very expensive, and so I don't bother. The other advantage of using a label is that it's possible to get it off again if I ever run up against a nasty judge who won't allow me to use figures which have a modified base. If you want to know more about the decals, Brazil has used them, so send him a PM.
