WAITING SPOUSES REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL

Waiting Spouses is a group of ladies who are geographically separated from their husbands. We get together the first Saturday each month for "Family Fun Day" and third Saturday each month for "Ladies Night Out", to participate in social activities. If your spouse is active duty and away on an unaccompanied tour, attending training, temporary duty, deployed, etc., then we'd love to have you join us. As always childcare is provided. Waiting Spouses Calendar of Events

January 25, 2004 - Family Day - "Family Military Festival Day," Huntsville Museum of Art, 2nd Fllor, 1:30 - 4:00.  Admission is Free.  There will be re-enactors dressed in uniforms from historic military events including the American Revolution, the Spanish American War, and the Civil War.  Attendees will also meet medieval knights dressed in full regalia.  In addition, there will be hands-on activities for children - making military medals, army hats, etc.  Light refreshments will be served.  We're planning to meet on the steps of the museum at 1:30 on Sunday.  If you would like further information please contact Kristi at ACS, 876-5397. February 7, 2004 - Family Fun Day - Ice Complex - 3:00-5:00.  Admission is Free - Skate Rental $2.00.  Please be sure to dress warmly - mittens, jackets, etc.!  RSVP with Kristi by February 4. February 10, 2004 - "Talk Time" at Army Community Service, 6:00 - 7:30.  Light Refreshments.  For more information please call Army Community Service, 876-5397. February 14, 2004 - Watch for information about out upcoming Valentine's Day Party!
