FAMILY ROOM
Our family members are dispersed not only throughout Asia, but around the world. Immediate family members are located on either sides of the Pacific and Atlantic... let alone more distant ones. Not just our family's like this though. As the world evolves more and more into a "global village", with the efficiency of travel made possible by advancing technology, and the awareness of cultural mixture, many families face the same situation we do: leading different lives in different places, with different upbringing and experiences. We see our friends more often than we gather as a family! Seems the only tie left is that somewhat common blood - the fact that we share some genes with one another.

The old Chinese saying "blood is thicker than water" has been around for ages - and not without its reasons. No matter what we do in live, family should be what "roots" us, keeping us standing firm. Without such basis it seems pointless to fly high... afterall, where will you land?

No friendship or any kind of relationship can last without the people involved putting in some effort to share their lives and exchange their ideas. So here's my endeavour to create the link between our fellow family members: a virtual family room for everyone to rest, to interact, to let each other know what's happening in our part of the world, and to show that we're not afraid to care.
