SARC/W1ORS maintains 2-way radio equipment and computer aids for emergency operation, any time, day or night, throughout the year. Most recently, SARC members contributed to emergency relief  communications operations during the 9/11 attack on the United States, and during hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. Amateur Radio Emergency Service,
providing Emergency Communications to local communities
since 1946.
SARC/W1ORS
members include experienced instructors and examiners to teach theory and radio procedure,
train in the skill of Morse code,
and offer advice and guidance to
non-hams, the community, and Amateur Radio upgrade candidates.
