W1 House Rules

W1 House Rules

  1. Both tables shall be separated by 3 tiles.
  2. Rules for racking shall be decided before the game (The default is at 6 and 3).
  3. The winner of doubles will start with both balls. If in team play, each team has a winner of a previous game, then you will shoot for the balls.
  4. Wiping your own table is upon your own discretion.
  5. Play it as it lies. If a cup slides across the table, it must remain there.
  6. Racks must be asked for in order to guarantee them.
  7. Mid-turn racks may be asked for -- However, if you play one full turn after the opportunity to rack, the rack is then forfeited.
  8. Bouncing the ball in is equivalent to 2 cups -- You cannot win on a bounce.
  9. If the ball hits any object other than the inside of the cup (bouncing included), it may be swatted away without penalty.
  10. There shall be no piss breaks, cell phones, etc. (unless play is not interrupted) -- If you leave the playing field, ½ of your cups will be forfeited.
  11. There shall be no reaching over the table. There is no set distance for leaning over the table, but you should be within a reasonable distance.
  12. If both balls are shot at the same time, you may swat one away while it is in the air, but the team that shot the balls will get that ball back for another shot.
  13. 2 balls in one cup ends the game. If your beer is left to the side (and is not empty), and a ball lands in it, the game is over.
  14. If both cups are hit when 2 are left, then the game is over.
  15. If the first player makes the last cup, you must request to have the ball taken out before the other player shoots to end the game.
