Mr. Merrill's Website

Who Am I?
Brief Overview:  This site is maintained by Jason Merrill, a Social Studies Teacher at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central Schools in Verona, NY (NYS Thruway Exit 33).

On the classroom side:
This website is designed to provide parents and students an opportunity to interact with both  myself and the NYS curriculum for 11th grade United States History to answer that ever important question:  "What did you learn today?". I have also decied to provide info (short and sweet) about some of the professional development I have been involved with.

On the "lighter" side:
This site is also home to the VVS Running Sites which include Cross Country and both Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field.

I have decided to include some information about myself so visitors can get a better idea of my personal interests.  By doing so, visitors might be able to better understand how I learn and my personality. (

Also, please feel free to use my email to ask questions about or provide feedback on the website or what we are doing in class.
