Karl Malone |

Los Angeles Lakers' Karl Malone is an awsome player, after all, he is almost fourty-one years old, and he still plays as if he were twenty. In the first round of the 2004 playoffs versus the Huston Rockets, Malone got his jersey torn by an apposing player, and he refused to change into a backup. After the victory, he told the reporters that the torn jersey proved him as a "true warrior". Malone came to the Lakers to win a national champion- ship, and to get his first NBA ring. He turned down several multimillion dollar contracts, and he excepted the Lakers payment of MUCH less money. This shows Karl Malone is extremely deticated to the sport of basketball. With Kobes midseason problems, Karl stepped up and led the team throungh some tough games. He also had to play on several injuries, including his most recent knee injury. Malone is an all around exceptional player that should be remembered forever in the name of basketball. |
