Class Description: Economics is a semester long course which introduces students to the use of money in the public and private sectors.

 

Instructional Methods: a variety of teaching methods will be used with an emphasis on lecture and cooperative learning.

 

Homework: Students are expected to read and comprehend 5-10 pages nightly.  Reading assignments will be given as needed.  You can expect to take home work fortnightly.

 

Tests/ Quizzes:  A test will be given at the conclusion of each unit.  Students should expect weekly quizzes, announced and unannounced J.

 

Final: A cumulative final will be given at the end of the semester.

 

Class projects: We will be doing 1-2 class projects this semester.

 

Participation: Students are expected to participate in class in a positive manner.
