I was actively involved with the transportation of oil for myself and other companies. With a promotion to President of Compton, I took charge of all personnel (approx. 100); use and maintenance of three pipelines; as many as sixty oil transport trucks and trailers; barge facilities and the buying and selling of reclaim oil. I continued to purchase and sell lease crude for both companies. Compton purchased on the average of 12,000 barrels of crude oil per day and had a gross revenue of approximately $500 million annually. 1980 - 1977 Southwestern States Marketing Abilene, Texas Vice President in charge of purchasing, selling, and scheduling 70,000 to 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day with major and independent oil companies. 1976 Scurry Oil Company Tulsa, Oklahoma Manager of a reclaim oil facility in Brownsville, Texas. During this time, I supervised the constructions of a small refinery designed to clean reclaim (slop) oil. 1976 - 1974 Summit Gas Company Oklahoma City, Okla.
