Happy 2 month anniversary! exactly this time 2 months ago we were sailing around the sounds, across tasman bay on the Spirit!

Woah what an awesome weekend at Pine Valley! Belinda, David, Lindy and Ngarie (yeah go Starboard B!) were the only people from V#363, but everyone else there was great too! Met some great people from other voyages! Heard some funny stories about the crew! Went for a short tramp. Ate awesome food thanks to Helene, you guys have to go next year just for her food! Cameron Appleton from Team New Zealand showed up as guest speaker, he's one of two backup helmsmen. Umm.. what else, played kiddies games, some people breathed fire, had a costume party thing, elected the new Spirit Voyagers' Club Crew (comititee) and spot-light yeah!
The only downside to the weekend was the weather craped out and the Lynx had to turn back, we spent the night in the Picton terminal before they crammed us all on the 5.30 am Arahura sailing! Then the weather close to Wellington was too rough so the interislander went south for a bit, wallowing around, least it wasnt as bad as our first crossing none of us threw up. I'll try and get some photos up soon!

The leading hands weekend is depending on funding and time contraints, if the Voyagers' Club gets a donation it will probabley go ahead. Last year they were fortunate to have $5000 given by the Hilaries Commission for the weekend. But the Spirit must also be free from daysails, 10 day voyages, etc. It will almost definately be in Auckland however.

I've had requests to nag you all to get you're photos up here! So here goes my nag: "NAAAGGG NAG NAGGGGG NAG NAG NAG... NAG NAG....NAAGGGGG!" Ahh all better, sorry I had to do that, its a nasty job.

Those interested about the Voyager's reunion in Pine Valley over Easter weekend can email Ruth Dobson-Smith And request the Registration forms. It cost $75 for the weekend and that includes food and accomodation. Ferry bookings are $79 and can be made by emailing Hannah Grey. We'll be catching the 8am Lynx sailing on the 29th across the puke waves. Then coming back on the Arahura on the 1st at 1.30pm.
It'll be great to see you guys again!!! :D
Keep sending your photos, I won't be updating as frequently, but I'll try to put new images up each week!

Sometime in July, I think theres going to be a training weekend for leading hands in Auckland aboard Spirit of New Zealand, keep you posted!
