Dedicated to my brother...
Welcome!
I wanted to make a page in dedication to my brother, Mark,  who has been going through a fight for his life, literally.....
He was diagnosed on September 16th, 1999 with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and went through chemo treatments. He went into remission for a few months, only to have a relapse.
He is now undergoing intensive chemo treatments in preparation for a Bone Marrow Transplant, at Stanford University in CA. You can click on the link  to read more about Bone Marrow Transplants. You can also read about where he is in his treatments, and everything else that is going on, on the updates page...
He and his wife Sussie have 4 wonderful boys...we just wish they lived closer to the rest of us here in IL *S*  Love ya bro! :)

How Much More?
Sometimes it seems my smallest task,
Becomes a major job;
That my valleys become deeper,
And my mountains taller, God.

Oft times my road seems longer, too,
And I cannot see it's end;
More rocks fall down to trip me,
With bigger boulders round the bend.

I push and strive, press on and drive,
If need be I can crawl;
Whatever it takes for me to survive,
Indeed, I do it all.

I sometimes stop and close my eyes,
I question why my test;
I think how hard I try each day,
And God...I do my best.

Perhaps I don't thank you enough,
For the strengths you've given me,
And for your love sent from above,
And your gifts most heavenly.

You raise me to the summits,
You drop me to the depths;
My life swings like a pendulum,
Between the worst and best.

How many oceans left to swim?
How many more mountains to climb?
How many valleys yet to crawl from?
Dear God...will you give me more time?

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot destroy peace,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot suppress memories,
It cannot silence courage,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot steal eternal life,
It cannot conquer the Spirit.
Take this Dove and place it on your pages to show your support for Cancer research and survivors everywhere.
