I.  Computer Paper:
VA/VR personnel who have home computers are now allowed to purchase paper through your local SAM'S Club.  This will decrease the costs to the VA and be a benefit to us.  Authorization is to purchase #29490 Ultra Ink Jet Paper 8 1/2 x 11, $24.95 plus tax.  Please contact Mr. Byron Combs, (336) 631-5200 (ext. 2801) prior to purchase.
II.  Annual Eye Exams:
If it's been over a year since your last eye examination, it is suggested you contact Dr. Risk at Vision Center to set up an appointment.  Our eyes are too important to lose.
III.  VA Hospital/Dental Services:
As you know, the VA was providing certain dental services for VA/VR student.  Unfortunately, the VA Hospital has been undergoing certain cutbacks and dental care is one of them.  VA/VR students are authorized to set up limited emergency only appointments within the Dental Section of the VA Hospital.  For emergency appointments, please contact, VA Rep, Mr. Gene Watts: 822-7051.
IV.  End of School Semester:
Finals are just around the corner.  We are wishing each and every one of you the best during this stressful time.
V.  Voices of Vets Newsletter:
The Voices of Vets Newsletter is a new service to VA/VR students.  If you have any information you wish to see published, please forward all requests to:

Newsletter publication will pick up again in the Fall Semester.  We are wishing each of you a fun and safe summer vacation.
