Pasta in Pesto

Serves 4 persons

Ingredients

1 large onion

1 garlic clove

fresh basil

2 fresh cream

200g parmesan cheese

50g pine nuts

2 chicken stock cubes

500g pasta (penne or spaghetti)

Method

Boil a large pot of hot water with added salt. When boiling add the penne or spaghetti.

Fry the onion & garlic (finely chopped) in butter. Add a little water & the stock cubes. Meanwhile roast the pine nuts. Chop the basil (& add with the onion). Grate the parmesan cheese & add the fresh cream and the parmesan cheese. Finally add the pine nuts & mix with the boiled pasta ' al dente'.
