About Hall Library

Walter Hall Elementary Library serves as the hub of the educational program.  The library is located in the center of the building and is the heart of the learning process at the school.  Mrs. Lindsey Young is our librarian and is assisted by Gail Colelli Library Aide.  Our library houses approximately 13,000 books, magazines, videos and other items.  Students, parents and staff are always welcome to visit the library for leisure reading and conducting research.  Students come to the library once a week for book check out and library skill lessons.  Students in Kindergarten - Second grade may check out one book att a time.  Students in Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade may check out two books.  Books are checked out for a period of two weeks at a time.  Students must return all books before other books are checked out.  We do not charge fines for over due books.  Parents may check out up to five books a period of two weeks.  An on-line catalog is available as well as internet access on eight PC computers located in the library.  A forty-two station iMac lab is located at the end of the library for classes as well as individual students to do research, work on projects etc.  Hall's Library is a busy place.
