Portrait of Christ

Look at this picture of Jesus with His head bowed, he gave up his spirit. Even though we don't know what Jesus looks like we know He is beautiful. We can find out many details from the Bible talking about that. But Jesus died for our sins, that is true. I didn't believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of Man and Son of God, or realize that I need Jesus in my life until almost 7 years ago. Although we have had different situations or circumstances that have brought us to the Cross to become a Christian. We know His precious blood cleanses us, gives us life and He took our place in redeeming sacrifice and washes us whiter than the snow. He looks beyond how far you've gone; he looks beyond when you were hurt; He looks beyond who stole your song; He looks beyond what made it worse; He looks beyond where other's failed. There is a river that flows from the fountain of God and it heals everything along the way. That's true, because when I was looking for love and the purpose of my life, I tell you that this world cannot give me and you. When I was lost from God's flock, His love and His voice found me. Hallelujah! Do you always cry out Hallelujah and sing His praises? At my Church, we always do that during worship services and cry out loudly, not just on Sunday but everyday. We need to let His love change our eyes and our hearts, make us turn our eyes upon Jesus. Even when we have troubles and struggles in our lifetime. We need to remember that "God is King!" Indeed, God will make a way, where there seems to be no way. All things work together for the good of those who love Him.

Another thing that I want to share with you is, we are one body in Christ. "Standing close to Jesus' Cross were His mother, His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. Jesus saw His mother and the disciple He loved standing there; so He said to His mother, "He is your son." Then He said to the discriple. "She is your mother." From that tme the discriple took her to live in his home. " - John 19:25-27 Jesus died for us and made us as one. Church is a very precious family before God's eyes. Jesus also said "Day of the Lord will come as a thief comes at night ..." - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11 When He comes, He will take over the Church, that means He is coming to carry us to Heaven. Therefore, we are more precious then anything in God's eyes. Even though I don't know you, but Jesus calls us by name. God called Moses by name; He called Abraham by name. Even Paul, He also called Him by name at the street before Paul became an apostle. He knows you and me. I hope that we can continue to encourage each other in His holy name.
"God did not choose us to suffer His anger, but to possess salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us in order that we might live together with Him, whether we are alive or dead when He comes. And so encourage one another and help one another, just as you are now doing." - Thessalonians 5:9-11
