Drums, Backup Vocals
I began playin' the drums, tapping on my
knees, when I was 11. I had only my imagination but that carried
me through until High School where I won a competition to start in the
band on drums. I was in all of the required bands, (i.e. Marching
Band), but of course my favorite was Stage Band, I got to play a real drum
set! Shortly, thereafter I bought my first real set and I played in bars
and at parties with people thoughout Las Vegas, NV. I was in a couple of
small bands but we didn't really go anywhere.
The unfortunate happenings in life forced
me to sell everything. So went my drum set. That was in 1986.
Even though I was without a set I was still
playin' gigs off and on using borrowed sets. Then In 1995 my buddy, Joe,
borrowed a Bass guitar from a friend and that was all the inpiration I
needed to go out and get another set of skins. We practiced off and on
with different folks comin' out to the house.
Then a guy who I heard could "really" play,
Chris, came out and sat in with us. At first it was hit and miss.
Then after he saw that he could have some fun he began coming over every
weekend. Well, after a couple of years and a boatload of equipment.
We had a band. We practiced covers mostly then a few originals began coming
into play. After a while we wanted a lead singer, someone who could really
belt out the blues. We had a few trial folks who gave us the experience
of learning what we wanted in a lead singer and a band member. Four years
into the makin', through different music equipment and members, Joe and
Chris met this Metal Rocker named Jimmy. He came to a few practices and
saw there was blues to be sung. With that we have recorded in Studios,
made CDs and a website, playn' the Blues and havin' some fun.
