| Arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) When arriving at the International Airport and you want to change some US$ or Euro into Pesos you have to do this before passing the Emigration/passport checkpoint. Ask a worker at the airport where to exchange money and it will be easy to find. After passing the Emigration/passport checkpoint you will come out to get your luggage and before you leave the luggage hall you have to show security that your luggage numbers fit to your luggage. Now you are ready to leave the International Airport and to meet your pickup person or to get a taxi to Manila City or to Domestic Airport. The fare for a taxi are about 500 pesos or equivalent to 10 US$ or 8.5 Euro. Departure at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) When departure from the International Airport you have to pay an Airport fee of 550.00 Pesos. Remember to keep that amount of pesos before entering the departure hall first in here you can't change you US$ or Euro and the only take pesos no credit cards. For International flights you have to be at the Airport at least 2 hours before departure. If you come from a hotel in Manila area remember it can take very long time to get to the airport at rush hour. There is a limited duty free sale at the International Airport. You can smoke in some café's or restricted smoking areas is available Departure from Domestic Airport When departure from the Domestic Airport you have to pay an Airport fee of 200.00 Pesos. You have to have pesos they don't take US$ or Euro and there is no possibility to use credit cards. Tickets for Domestic Flights. Just at the departure area at the Domestic Airport you will find, facing the building, the two major domestic flight companies ASIAN SPIRIT and SOUTH EAST ASIAN. Here you can buy your flight ticket or pickup your ordered flight ticket. Arriving at Catiklan Airport. At Catiklan airport you will get your luggage at the arriving counter the guards will check your luggage numbers before leaving the arriving area. Outside you will find tricycles who will take you to the Jetty Port where the pumpboats will take you Boracay. The tricycles will cost you 40 pesos. At the Jetty Port you have to pay a 90 pesos tourist fee before entering the boats. We can also arrange the hotel or house you stay in to order you a private pickup at the airport and they will then sail you direct to your hotel on Boracay. For that service you have to pay around 500 pesos. |
