| Need a waiver? Ski areas, stables, challenge courses and other facilities that troops use for activities often ask that parents sign liability waivers to release the facility from any responsibility should an accident occur. Council has already assembled a list of facilities with reviewed waivers, please check with your Consultant for the facilities list. Leaders must obtain copies of the waiver from Council and all waivers must be reviewed before they are signed. The waiver is comprised of 2 copies, one is to be given to the facility and the other is to be returned to Council after the parent has signed. If the facility in which you are interested is not included on the Council list, but uses a waiver of liability, please submit the waiver to the Council a minimum of 2 months prior to your event. This allows the insurance company sufficient time to review the content of the waiver. |

| Dupage Children's Museum - Group Visits The DuPage Children's Museum offers a world of hands-on science, math and art experiences perfect for group visits of 15 or more. Group visits require a ratio of 1 chaperone to 6 children. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the visit and require a 20% deposit. Plan your group visit. Explore the Museum's Exhibit Neighborhoods. Have a group with special needs? Find out more about the Museums interactive Learning Labs available for school groups. Prices: 1 hour visit: 1 1/2 hour visit: $5.25 per person $5.75 per person $3.75 per chaperone $4.25 per chaperone Limited lunch facilities may be available for the fee of $25 per 1/2 hour or $40 per hour. Souvenir Bags Souvenir bags are available for everyone in your group for $2 or $3 each. We’ll package up some cool items from the Explorer Store and have your order all ready when you visit with your group!
