Only One a Suikoden 2 parody by Seiji

Our hero, Riou, is a prisoner in Flik and Viktor's fort. His childhood friend, Jowy, comes to rescue him. Voice (off-screen): "Hey it looks like somebody snuck in here!!" Jowy (off-screen): "Riou! If you're here, answer me! Riou!!!" Riou: "I'm here Jowy!!!" Jowy runs in. Jowy: "Riou.... Th... thank God. I'm going to get you out of here." Jowy whacks the door with his staff. Jowy: "Are you okay? I'm so relieved. Let's get out of here before the soldiers come." They run up the stairs and straight into Flik, Viktor, and four soldiers. Flik: "Okay. That's far enough. Give yourselves up before you make us adults mad." Jowy: "We... we're outnumbered." Riou: ".... I understand." Flik (to Jowy): "Now you can start by telling me who you are." The boys are marched up to the meeting room. Flik and Viktor stand on one side of the table. Jowy and Riou stand on the other. Two soldiers are behind the boys. No weapons are drawn. Viktor: "Okay, we'll start with your name." Jowy: "Jowy... Jowy Atreides." Viktor: "Jowy. Okay. Since you came to rescue Riou, can I assume you're also a Highlander?" Riou suddenly whirls around and pulls out a large sword he had hidden in his spandex shorts. Riou: "No! There can be only one!" Riou decapitates Jowy. Blue lightning from a Quickening crackles across the room. Flik: "No! That's my trademark!" Flik leaps across the table brandishing Odessa+. He holds it at Riou's throat. Riou can't move without suffering the same fate as Jowy. Flik: "Reset and play again from the your last savepoint. I am Flik, the Blue Lightning! The only Blue Lightning!" Viktor's still staring at all the Atreides blood seeping into his map of the eastern half of Jowston. Viktor: "... Look what you've done. We're never going to hear the end of this from Templeton." Riou: "......... I had to do it. He wanted to take me back to Nanami." Flik: "Reset! Now!! Nanami can't be that bad." Flik presses Odessa+ closer to Riou's neck. Riou: "Fine. We'll reset." Riou slips his sword back into his shorts and stalks off, muttering. Riou: "...... jerk ...... deserve Nina..." Flik shivers. Flik: "Wait, who's Ni--" The game is reset.

Author's excuses: Well, they are Highlanders... and later on, well... True Runes make you ageless and almost immortal. Holders of True Runes can't be killed in just any old way. (And I really didn't like Nanami. Apologies to Nina, though. She amused me.)
