Wyre Forest Morris Men a member of the
The Morris Ring was formed in 1979 and is based at The Plough, Shenstone, near Kidderminster in the Wyre Forest. The style of dancing performed is known as "Cotswold Morris" (What is Morris dancing). During the summer months Wyre Forest Morris can be seen regularly around the area on their Tuesday evening tours as well as various weekend events throughout most of the year. In 1997 we had a weekend of dance dedicated to a local 'character' Bert Aldridge.In addition Wyre Forest Morris perform Folk and Blues, music and song under the name
