Vocalists and guitarists always get the most attention in bands. Bassists and drummers are no where as idolized to the extent of vocalists and guitarists. So here's a section that gives credit to some brutal bassists. I can't really do drummers too since I'm not a drummer, but Dream Theater, Rush, and Tool would definately be in there. But this is bass, not drums. Anyway, this is a really varied list but generally it's all some form of rock and/or roll. Don't give me some shit about some great rap or disco bassist, I don't listen to it and I don't really care. This is my site biatch. Random note, although Fieldy has a style which gives Korn more of an identity and puts them above some other Nu-metal bands he's too much of an annoying prick for me to put him up. Plus Korn has gone downhill in recent years. And as for Roger Waters, even though he was pretty much kicked out of Pink Floyd for becoming too controlling, he was still good in his prime because it was Pink Floyd and he did make a lot of contributions to the band after Barret went ca-razy. Rock and Roll. |
