First,
we at the forum wish to thank everyone that put forth the effort
to help in the production of this years VicFest! We also would
like to acknowledge all those folks that made it, and to those
folks that tried but were unable to attend. Hopefully during the
next year we can attempt to draw others to future Fests with our
rememberances of good times and comradship.
Thanks
to all . . . without you the
Forum would not be what it is. A special thanks to Nancy and
Peter for their hosting of the Fest for 2 years running. We
all very much appreciate your efforts and commitments to the Forum.
Thank you!
A big
Thank You to our hosts Jim and Maryanne at Rock
Hall Landing Marina. They went through hoops to provide us
a great location to show our boats at the Fest. What a great place
to hold the Fest this year!
We
would also like to thank the Molter family for supporting
the forum and taking the time to be with us again. Thank you for
supporting the Victoria Family.
Again
we would also like to thank the McVay family for bringing
us together once again in support of the wonderful gift of sailing
they have imparted to so many of us. Cheers to the McVays!
A special
thank you to Bob McVay, brother to William McVay
(the Designer of the Victoria 18 and 26), of Nova Scotia. Bob
couldn't make it to the Fest this year due to health concerns.
He wished us the best, and mentioned that his brother Bill is
probably looking in on us.
Bob McVay and wife
Beth.
Oh, and one final thank you to
someone who has been hard at work behind the scenes proofreading
and editing thumbnail after thumbnail, page after page for all
the folks of the Forum. A big thank you to Duncan, who,
without his never ending commitment these pictures would not have
made it so quickly to the site.
Thanks Dunk, and keep up the
great work!
(It allows "Wind Song" to spend much more time on the
water, and maintains my image of hard work and dedication among
my peers on the Forum)
He seems to like it. As
can bee seen in the right side picture, I modified his paw by
adding an appendage to it (like a thumb) so that he has better
control of the mouse. He walks a little different now, but he
can do some amazing things that he couldn't do before!
(Nancy, quit laughing already, . . . I know. . . sometimes it
seems like he really is editing some of the stuff!)
Pictures . . . Pictures . . .
and more . . . Pictures!
