The Victoria Male Voice Choir is an amateur choir that offers participation and training in the vocal arts.
The choir believes that you should sing "for the fun of it". We hold rehearsals once a week, on Tuesday night, and our repertoire embrace a wide range of musical styles, including spiritual, classic, Broadway, folk
and modern.
The membership varies from year to year in the range of 20 to 30 members. You don't need special musical training to be part of our group, just a desire to sing, to learn and to be an asset to the group!
Performing is an integral part of our schedule. The choir performs 8 to 10 concerts a year in Churches, Senior's Centres and Service Clubs. It has performed at the McPherson Theatre, the Empress Hotel, the Victoria Conference Centre and many other locations.
The Victoria Male Voice Choir is a member of the BC Choral Federation, the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria and is registered as a Charitable Society in British Columbia.
