The prototypical organised killer, Gacy planned all his thirty-three murders meticulously in advance. Gacy killed mostly men and boys and enjoyed dressing like a clown and reading from the bible for his victims as he raped, beat and handcuffed them. Arrested in 1978, the police found thirty bodies under his porch, exclaining his wifes annoyance with a pesky aroma surrounding the house. While in prison Gacy honed his artistic skills creating numerous paintings on a clown theme. He was executed by lethal injection in 1994. |
