This cat was presented  in Vet center with problem on her mammary glands. She was an one-year-old female cat. During the examination was discovered that she was pregnant and her mammary glands were swollen. Each gland had round shape constituted of hard palpated tissue. No milk was taken out of glands. This condition is called hormone-dependent mammary cystadenoma or mammary gland cystic hypertrophy, and is caused from progesterone. The condition is caused more often from exogenous progesterone used to stop estrus. In this case progesterone was produced from ovaries because of pregnancy and caused the hypertrophy. The cat was ovariohysterectomised. Two weeks after surgery the mammary glands progressively became normal.
