I am the wife of an Aztec man. Today my day started early because I have to rekindle the fire and grind the corn to make tortillas. This is hard work and I get tired of doing it every day. Why can't my family just eat without tortillas. I also have to cook three times a day and take care of house chores plus take care of my children. As you might know men don't help doing house chores because they have other things to do. Men in our culture hunt and fish for food and protects use from other tribes. It isn't easy to follow the orders that are given by all men in our culture. As a woman I can't make any decisions because men do that. I do what he tells me and I can't question him. I hope that someday this changes and I can express what and how I feel.
