Hi! My name is Lauren. I'm originally from Knoxville, Tennessee and am currently a freshman at Scripps College in California. I am probably going to double major in English (with an emphasis on creative writing) and French. I hope to be a writer (and I've heard all the "would you like fries with that" jokes and they're not funny). My hobbies include reading, writing, running, and politics/debate. My favorite foods are fried okra, mashed potatoes, cheese fries, and raw oysters. My favorite books are The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides and A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. My favorite movies are True Romance, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Mulholland Drive. My birthday is November 7th.
