The Meaning of it All:
Just Why Did I Create this Website?

The easiest answer that I can give for the above question is that I like to share my thoughts. There is no underlying message, no cause that I am trying to advance-- I'm just writing what is on my mind at the moment. It may offend some (unlikely, but possible), it may enlighten others (possible, but improbable), and it is sure to bore others; all of those possibilities are fine with me. I'm not here to impress.

This all started one evening after reading an article on The Internet Monk. On the main page is the site's motto, "Nailing my thoughts on the door of the world." I got to thinking, you know, I really like to share my opinions; so, with insomnia as a catalyst, I started writing. I won't make the claim of being original with the idea of a website where I editorialize about anything I feel the urge to (as is obvious with the admission I just made), but that isn't going to stop me from publishing it.

I'm operating with a rudimentary understanding of html, and that's all that I feel I need to know; I don't like slick websites with a lot of nifty java tricks, and I don't need any kind of .php program to run the site. I use colors that won't hurt your eyes if you stare at them for a long time (such as white backgrounds or bright green text), and I use a minimum of graphics. Theoretically, you're visiting this site to read what I've written, not look at pictures.

There may be an occasional typo, misspelling, or grammar error, but I try my best to do the English language justice. I just wish that more people would.

I'm not going to post a biography or anything like that, because frankly, I don't think that it really matters where I was born or how old I am, as long as what I have to say is relevant (or not).
