Welcome to the Home Page of CREW 7. We are currently entering our 3rd year of existence as a Venturing Crew. We had a tremendous 1st 2 years with a lots of great activities that included: Canoe float - - Backpacking on the AT - - Skiing at Mt Killington, VT - - Sailing in Newport RI - - Pistol Shoot at the USCGA - - Ice Climbing in VT--Winter Camping in Maine - - White water rafting on the Kennebec River, Maine and our Super Summer Activity - - Backpacking in the Blue Ridge Mts of Virginia which included a whitewater rafting trip on the New River Gorge in WVA. Schedule of Events:

VENTURING CREW 7 WILL BE MEETING THE 2ND AND 4TH WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH!!! FIRST MEETING, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH...

ADVANCEMENT TRAINING WILL BE ON THE 1ST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH ie RANGER TRAINING / MERIT BADGE WORK!!!

THE 3RD AND OCCASIONAL 5TH WEDNESDAY WILL BE FOR OTHER ACTIVITIES. ie BOWLING, SWIMMING / WORKOUT at the USCGA, MOVIES etc!!!

SEPTEMBER 2001

  • September 9th, Sailing Newport R.I.

  • September 12th, First Meeting. Will discuss Crew Offices and the nomination process.

  • September 26th, First Nighters Program. Introduction to the Venturing Program. Invite a Friend who might be interested in this type of program. Parents encouraged to attend.

    April 16th - 19th 2002

    THIS YEAR, CREW 7 WILL DO IT'S SUPER ACTIVITY OVER THE SPRING BREAK. WE WILL GO TO TUCKERMAN RAVINE AT MT WASHINGTON, NH. WE WILL STAY AT THE LODGES AND LEAN TO PROVIDED BY THE AMC. OVER SEVERAL DAYS WE WILL HIKE AND SKI TUCERMAN RAVINE.
