“You’re not serious, are you?  Blowing down that wall will bring more trouble than it is worth…” Omurai began to say, but Asher cut him short.
“Either you’re coming with me, or you can stay to explain why there is a big hole in the back of your cell!” The hot headed alchemist interjected, placing his hand on the wall, which caused the area around it to suddenly turn red.
With a sigh, Omurai conceited.  “Blow it down…I’ll be right behind you.  I’d much rather go and become an outlaw than stay and look like an idiot for not going.”

Tom Joherse was playing his cards right this evening with the other guys.  Not known for luck, the other jail guards were quite surprised when Tom took the lead in a game of cards.  A sudden explosion in the back took everyone’s attention, and Tom gave a slight moan as the men tossed their cards aside and leaped to their feet.  One guard from the back came running down the hallway shouting that two prisoners broke out.  Up went every weapon, swords and hammers, in every hand.  They all charged for the main doors, but stopped dead in their tracks as the wall right behind Tom blew away, knocking the unfortunate man to the ground under a pile of rubble.  In stepped a red headed man in a jail suit, his hands aflame.
“Alright, you ninnies, put the weapons down!” Asher shouted, holding his hands out in front of him.  “I’m not here for trouble…I just want my gear.”
The guards all stumbled over words, not sure what to think of the flaming alchemist.  Tom, however, whined as Asher stepped into the room, right on his back!  Just as one of them began to find their voice, the wall opposite of Asher is blasted away by a jolt of lightning, and in hovered Omurai, electricity flowing from hand to hand.  That was all the incentive they needed.  All the guards scrambled around, all scrambling with their keys as one finally unlocked a closet that held all of their belongings.  Tom, however, just laid on the floor groaning.
“Yeah, it is all here.” Omurai said as he inspected the closet.  “You keep an eye on them while I change…don’t need to have them causing more trouble than their worth.”
“Of course…” Asher said, his hands still burning with energy.  “Help up your friend…I’m tired of watching him squirm.”  He nodded towards poor Tom, who was twitching around defiantly under the rubble.  The guards did just that and quickly pulled their hapless friend from the ground.
Soon after Omurai was fully dressed and equipped, Asher and he switched places, this time Omurai watching the guards.  As soon as the two were all ready to go, they did just that, and the guards were too shaken to even try to pursue.

Voyse slipped through the alleys of Knollwood with perfection.  Soon after awakening from his fight with Draven, he prepared a pack, left Roik in charge of the guild, and sneaked a ride with some late night merchants, who came to this city.  He had been here for a day already, but he could tell as soon as he arrived that he lost the trail of his precious stone.  He decided to stay to gather information on this Draven Bladenheart character, but dug up very little.  It seemed the man was a mass murderer who enjoyed nothing other than killing.  Then why, Voyse had to ask, did the man not kill him when he had the chance?  Was it out of respect?  Or perhaps he had a purpose for Voyse later on?  Either way…Voyse didn’t care.  He would retrieve his stone one way or the other.  His time of contemplation was over, however, as his target came into sight.  A young thief who worked with information on the streets of Knollwood.  It cost Voyse a pretty penny to get information for that one, and the little thief had missed his delivery.  Now it was time for a refund.
Out slipped Voyse from the shadows, a hooked dagger quickly finding the inexperienced thief’s shoulder and sending him tumbling to the ground in pain.  Obviously a tricky one, the low-life quickly crawled out into the open streets of Knollwood so everyone could see him.  He shouted for him, that is, until a dagger plunged into the back of his neck and a strong arm drug him back into the darkness.  He had done his work, however, and people began congregating around the spot.
Cursing his luck, Voyse retrieved his daggers and pillaged the young man of any money he had, which was quite a lot, and began to slip back into the shadows.

Asher and Omurai ran through the streets of Knollwood, heading for the western exit, when they noticed the commotion around an alleyway.  The two soon found themselves pushing through the crowd to see what was going on.  That is when they saw him, a dark figure wearing an unusual mask, slipping through the shadows and down the alleyway.  The two made quick pursuit, for what reason even they didn’t know.  They dashed around two corners, quickly coming back to the main street.  Just as the assassin tried to leap away into the darkness, a cone of fire erupted through the alley, searing everything and blasting the surprised man into the street in a ball of fire.  That fire soon dissipated as the skilled assassin fell into a roll, patting at his cloak as he did.  He was up on his feet by the time Asher and Omurai reached him.
Voyse looked around at his surroundings, and then to the two dangerous looking adepts standing before him, one wielding a huge sword over his shoulder, the other calmly drawing his katana.
