Thinking quickly, Draven pulled out the Adept’s Stone and held it up to the katana knight’s extended arm.  Simply on whim, Draven made the knight’s arm shatter into pieces with a blast of neutral energy.  With just a left arm remaining, the katana wielder swung its katana less proficiently, making it easy for Draven to dodge.  As the blade came down in a vertical chop sluggishly, the void adept drew energy from his stone and the weapon simply shattered like the knight’s arm.
With no weapon remaining, the statue knight simply bull rushed Draven, wrapping its one arm around him as it charged for the nearest wall.  Growing tired of the fight, Draven created another vortex of void energy right on the knight’s back.  First it shattered into pieces, then those pieces were sucked into the void, along with the other statue remains.
Hardly tired, Draven began to laugh maniacally as he turned to regard the path opened up by the moving wall.  To his confusion, the tiny hallway led simply to another wall.  He went closer to examine the wall.  Sure enough, another design was etched into the structure.  This time, however, it did not match up with the Adept’s Stone.  Perplexed, Draven thought over it a moment.  When nothing came to mind, he merely waved his hands in the air in defeat.  Recollecting his daggers, he went back to the doorway leading into the room and ordered that this area be blocked off until further orders.  With that said and done, he began his walk back to his throne room.

Voyse, who had been wandering in the hills for some time now, looked over a clear view of the village below and “the pit”.  To his amazement, lightning struck right in the center of the arena.  He held back a chuckle, sure of who the source was.
“So, they’re still around, eh?  I guess I better hurry then,” he said quietly to himself as he turned to look up at his path ahead.  On the top of the hill, barely visible over the trees, stood a lone tower.  Inside, supposedly, lay the artifact he sought.  “The power to negate the all powerful…how ironic,” Voyse said with a smirk.  With a sigh, he continued his trek up the hillside.
