Venezuela!

July 4th - 14th, 2003
This is my extremely unprofessional attempt at sharing the images of my trip from Venezuela with all of you. We ended up with hundreds of pictures, but these are some of the best.
There were six of us total. This is right before we hit the road. (From left to right)
Lino was so good for us to have with us, not only because he is twice our ages (38), but he is from Venezuela. We stayed with his family the three days we were in Caracas.
Jason was the initiator of the trip. His dad is from venezuela, and we stayed with his family on the island of Margarita.
Josiahs (red) and Patrick (GO2K1) are Jasons roommates, and great guys.
Sarah was the only other female, and VERY good to have around.
Leah is some girl who showed up as we were leaving, so we let her tag along.
All of these guys (except for Lino) are in the Ministry Internship with me, and live in my neighborhood.
Jo and Pat frantically trying to finish all of our fruit before we went through customs in Miami .... Airports are definetly my least favorite part of traveling.
Like a lot of 3rd world countries, there is an extreme in Venezuela between rich (20%) and poor (80%) Much of the housing is stacked, running strait up the Andes mountains.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you, to the very end of the age."

- Jesus
(Matt 28:19-20)
This page is dedictated to all the cousins who have gone before me in this crazy world, making websites for trips and sharing them with others. Erin, I would be lost without you.
