Hurt the Ones You Love

...that is, fanfiction by Veldeia

This is my little corner of fanfic in the net, named as it is since my fic usually contains gratuitous amounts of hurt/comfort.

I solemnly swear I do not own any of this stuff, the characters, the universes and all belong to the owners of the shows and/or books and/or films. I get no money from writing this. The few original characters and plotlines (if there are any to be found) are all mine, though.

So, without further explanations, here are the

Stories

More recent stuff (mostly Iron Man and crossovers with it) can be found at my Livejournal.

Stargate Sg-1

Cretaceous Coalition
March 2006
Rating: PG-13 for violence, including a bit of torture (though it's not that bad, really)
Category: Action/adventure, angst, hurt/comfort, drama
Spoilers: Late Season 2, after Show and Tell, so everything before that.
Summary: A sequel to "Mesozoic Maze". Months after their first visit, SG-1 returns to Dinoland. All too soon their pleasant dino safari turns into a race against time to save a dinosaur friend, and from there, it only gets worse.

Mesozoic Maze
January 2006
Rating: PG-13
Category: Action/adventure, angst, hurt/comfort, drama
Spoilers: Early Season 2 - hardly any.
Summary: Rainforest, ruins, dinosaurs - what more could an accident-prone SG-team possibly ask for?

Forever and Three Years
November 2005
Rating: PG-13 for violence, even death (but it's no one you know)
Category: Angst, hurt/comfort, drama, suspense, missing scene, alternate universe
Spoilers: Everything up to and including Forever in a Day
Summary:A week after Forever in a Day, an alternate Daniel arrives through the quantum mirror with his sad story. But will both Daniels survive the meeting?

Dodecagon
October 2005
Rating: PG-13 for a bit of language, violence and gory dreams
Category: Crossover, hurt/comfort, action, angst, drama
Spoilers: Takes place in Season 9, right after Beachhead, so anything before that. Pretty clear ones for Meridian, Reckoning and Origin.
Summary: A dream come true turns into a living nightmare, worst of all for Daniel, as SG-1 are trapped inside an Ancient research base, and getting out depends on solving a near impossible linguistic puzzle. Includes a guest appearance of a few Crusade characters, but is told entire from Daniel's & Mitchell's points of view, so no knowledge of Crusade required.

DragonGate
June 2004
Rating: PG
Category: Crossover, hurt/comfort, action, angst, drama.
Spoilers: You might find a few with a magnifying glass. None, really. SG-1 stuff takes part during 3rd season, and Dragonlance in Dragons of Autumn Twilight.
Summary: Two legendary teams, SG-1 and the Heroes of the Lance, meet and join forces to fight a common enemy, or two. My first ever finished piece of fanfic, complete with Danny-whumping (the last chapter is a real prototype example of it) and a bit on Raistlin as well.

Babylon 5: Crusade

In the Red Night
August 2005
Rating: PG-13 for badly written fistfights and gore
Category: Hurt/comfort, action, drama.
Spoilers: Techno-mage trilogy. Not really any for Crusade. Not that it matters much with this old a show anyway.
Summary: Captain Gideon goes missing on a roguish ex-Drazi colony, and Galen goes after him. When the rescue mission goes horribly wrong, both are caught in a desperate struggle for survival.

To Live and Die as One
July 2005
Rating: PG-13 for gory imagery (though hardly any actual violence)
Category: Hurt/comfort, angst, drama.
Spoilers: Spoils all of the Techno-mage trilogy books, knowledge of which is anyway very much recommended or many things in this story might not make sense - go read them, great books! And some spoilers for Crusade, too. Takes place after the existing episodes.
Summary: What's the worst thing that can happen to a techno-mage, aside from flaying and death? Galen finds out. This time, it's up to the crew of the Excalibur to save him, not the other way around.
