Last week we said “The playcalling after the Howard interception may have been the worst of your career, Andy.” Well, he’s topped it. For a full three quarters. This is a team that should be 4-1 or 5-0; the talent is there. Stop yelping about the WR and TE positions – the problem is NOT on the field. The problem is Andy Reid. I’ve been a defender of this guy for a long time, but now, belatedly, I give up. He’s good enough to build a winning team, but there are just too many holes in his total package. Still no clue about managing timeouts and the clock; fails to make challenges when he should, then makes a dumb one and wastes a timeout. Gave Marty M a brief window to show some good playcalling, then yanks back the authority for the dullest and least imaginative set of playcalling in the entire NFL. Geez, Andy, what have you learned in ten years? To win a championship in Denver, Elway had to be freed of Reeves. Will Donnie get a shot to be freed of Andy? Not in Philly, I fear.
