Felix will attack anyone wearing an iguana image on their shirt. Harry doesn't like any white shirts. Several iguanas hate the color red. Other iguanas don't like patterns, especially those that look like eyes.
As male iguanas age, hormones take over during the mating season. Felix taught mom a lesson about wearing green sweaters around male iguanas. During breeding season, males may also be attracted to the colors green, blue or purple. If an iguana latches on to you, use perfume or rubbing acohol on a cotton ball to make the iguana let go of the clothing or you, but do not let the cotton touch the nose. Some male iguanas have a problem with the males in the household during breeding season. Other iguanas are attracted to their female owners. Be prepared for a challenge during this season.
